This weeks Time Out New York, – or as we call refer to it as T.O.N.Y. – featured some of our Spring Cut and Sew pieces. Our Work Boots sold out over night and they featured all three of our Spring Button Downs. (Which will be added to the site later this week.)

It’s been awhile since we updated this News feed, but that is all about to change. Some major developments have finally come to fruition and Amongst Friends and Family is finally hitting full stride. We’ve been super busy getting our new offices set up, refining our operations, designing you some amazing projects and making sure we produce the best quality product Made on Earth.
Let me walk you through our Spring 2011 Lookbook shot by BON DUKE…
Long Sleeve AF STRIPED SHIRT is one of our best sellers. It’s striped baby French terry, contrasted ribbing, embroidered logo on chest and comes in both Gray and Navy colorways.
Next up is the MIXED OXFORD BUTTON DOWN. Constructed with striped and solid oxford shirting and color blocked. It features a half hidden placket and branded buttons. This AF Spring ’11 Staple comes in Yellow & Blue. So fresh.
The AF Staff favorite is The PLAID BUTTON DOWN. It comes constructed out of 3 unique cotton plaids. Accented with washed indigo chambray featuring a rounded shirt hem and button down collar. There is no wrong way to wear this – get one in every color. Trust us!
Our highly anticipated Footwear Program continues as we introduce our Amongst Friends “Duckie” Silhouette. Executed by mixing the silhouette and outer sole of a sneaker with the design elements of the duck boot and constructed with a rubber sole with suede and leather uppers. The Duckie is available in both Brown and Navy this Spring. We couldn’t make enough of these, so trust us, grab a pair ASAP.

Back in August of 2010, BUN B released his 3rd solo studio album entitled TRILL OG. Amongst Friends partnered with Bun to produce a limited edition tee and hat capsule to celebrate the album release along with a series of in-store events at AF supporting retailers, Sole Purpose in Beaumont, Texas and the Karmaloop Store in Boston.
Director and Editor – Kellen Dengler and AF Owner Mikol Stambaugh caught up with Bun in Boston and asked him to speak about the collaboration.
We found a few sizes of the Gangster Stripe Trucker Hat as well as the TRILL OG Tee in white.

In a chill, relaxed bar in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn I sat down with Amongst Friends owner, Mikol Stambaugh. Before we made our way to a back patio to conduct our interview, I was introduced to his brother, some close friends and was offered a beer. Those first initial minutes of our meeting, it was abundantly clear as to why the brand is called Amongst Friends. Mikol doesn’t claim streetwear royalty nor does he pretend to know it all. He simply aims to make quality gear and to fit in some golf time.
